Was ist Judo? Judo ist ein Kampfsport. Im Gegensatz zu einem Selbstverteidigungssystem sind hier alle gefährlichen Techniken verboten. Viele Judokas nehmen nie an einem Kampf teil. Sie üben diesen Sport aus, um Beweglichkeit, Kraft,Kondition und das Selbstbewustsein zu fördern, und das bis ins hohe Alter.

Grossmeister Robert Tobler (1902 - 1982) war in unserem Klub bis kurz vor seinem Tod auf den Matten. Seine Techniken werden von uns jeden Tag gepflegt und praktiziert. Hans Wicki war bei Ihm regelmässig im Training.
Mokume Gane tordierte Trauringe

Mokume Gane (holzähnlich maseriertes Metall) besteht aus mindestens zwei verschiedenen Metallen, die schichtweise unter hohem Druck diffusionsverschweißt wurden. Hier verwendete ich Silber und Palladium. Viel Spass beim zuschauen wünscht Armin Limacher
Nächstes Update: ich bin auf die Idee gekommen Silberlot dünn auszuwalzen und Lötfolien 0.15 mm zu versuchen. Bzw. Auch selbst geeignete Legierungen herzustellen. Beides funktioniert hervorragend, die Ergebnisse sind auch bei etwas weniger Sorgfalt (d.h. zügiger arbeiten) äußerst sauber. Ich habe entdeckt, es gibt auch industrielle Lötfolien für flächige Lötungen, was noch einfacher wäre, diese habe ich aber noch nicht genau unter die Lupe genommen. Jedenfalls ist das für mich ein Durchbruch in dieser Technik, um die Ergebnisse berechenbarer zu bekommen und Missgeschicke auszuschließen. 😅
Update: ich habe es jetzt schon 2 x versucht, es geht! Das 2e Exemplar hat 8 Schichten und wird fast perfekt 😊 Wenn ich demnächst ne Walze besitze, wird es vermutlich noch viel einfacher. Ganz herzlichen Dank, Sie haben mir wirklich sehr geholfen, es gibt immer noch genug zu rausfinden. (Zb die kleinen Störungen zwischen den Blechen, winzige schwarze Pünktchen, wo der Kontakt nicht so ganz da ist, sind kaum zu vermeiden. Aber das lässt sich noch korrigieren, zum Glück 😅. Das war am Ende nicht schwer, aber erstmal rausfinden...) Falls Sie das noch sehen sollten, ich kann es nicht oft genug sagen: Danke! Schöne Grüße!

(Ich bin kein gelernter Goldschmied, aber ich setze kreative Ideen um und manchmal komme ich nicht weiter, weil man kann eben nicht dauernd das Rad neu erfinden.Natürlich sind meine Arbeiten viel einfacher und weniger anspruchsvoll, aber um Technische Vollendung geht's mir ja auch nicht.) There is no constant number. Depending on the material combination, alloys with copper are very hard. Also be careful with very soft material. Use material with as identical a coefficient of expansion as possible. wish you good luck.

Yes, that is possible. With silver hard solder. The size of the blank should be maximum 20 x 100 mm. The surfaces must be sanded with 240 sandpaper and lie perfectly flat on top of each other. The contact surfaces must be cleaned with borax (do not use any other flux) and then coated before they come to rest on top of one another. The material is tied together with iron wire. Solder only 2 sheets at a time. Use wide, long strips of solder. The solder is fed in from one long side until it visibly flows out on the other side. If you don't work fussy, clean and correct, you will end up disappointed. don't overheat the matterial. but make sure that you heat the two metal surfaces evenly on both sides. do not warm slowly. it has to be done quickly. be careful. good luck.
Is it possible just to solder the layers together without fusing them. Both rings came out great.
I've never worked w/ palladium. It looks like a very hard metal to work with...literally.
I work with 500/000 palladium. It's not that hard either. The glow between the individual forging steps is important.

Hi, it is best if the surface is not polished. use pumice stone powder and matt the surface fine. The surface is sealed with beeswax.

Нее, Иван, все понятно. Видимо ты не в теме. Он спек( спаял) два металла: серебро и палладий. Потом в определенном и контролируемом хаосе придал узор спаянным металлам. И в итоге изготовил две обручалки в стиле мокуме гане. В этой технике можно варьировать металлами разными, в зависимости от задумки и хотелки изготовителя и заказчика. Бывают весьма достойные узоры. Но! Приятно, что это тебе понравилось.

Hi Инко Н.О, This is Mokum Gane split technique and twist. First calculate the volume of the finished ring. add about 50% material. This gives the starting material. The final size is obtained by swaging or forging.
Cheap metal combinations are brass or gilding metal (95/5). Silver 925/000. But be careful. Copper next to silver melts at 770 C ° Eutectic point
hi armin, nice video. i want to try mokume gane myself, but i find it very hard to find the correct materials. because i want to give it a try i dont want to spend much money. any tips for metals to combine with copper?
